CORSAIRS TACKERS

The Corsair is a class of sixteen foot three handed sailing dinghy. They are an ideal boat for sail training as its strength and stability allow inexperienced sailors to jump in with more knowledgeable instructors.

Tackers is an introductory, fun, games-based sailing program designed for kids aged 7 to 12, delivered at recognised Tackers Clubs. No sailing experience required and all the equipment, including the boats, is provided.
RL24 TRAILER SAILER HARTLEY TS16 TRAILER SAILER

One of Australia's most popular trailer yachts, offering great performance, easy launch & retrieval, while sleeping 4 in comfort. It has many safety features, a unique motor well, and fibreglass construction.

Another very popular trailer sailer that offers a terrific sailing experience at very low cost. Mostly built in wooden construction, they are a simple elegant design which guarantees fun for the family, and serious sailors alike.
TASAR LASER

A lightweight, fibreglass boat that gives high performance sailing at all levels. Easy enough to sail for husband/wife, parent/child combinations, they are inexpensive, and an excellent sailboat to start racing in.

A one-design class of small sailing dinghy, popular with beginners as it offers 3 sail sizes to suit the size & weight of the sailor. The design emphasizes simplicity and performance. They are generally sailed by only one person.
JUNIOR LESSONS ADULT LESSONS

Sailing can be learned in minutes, but stays a passion for life. Junior sailors can join in on any Sunday we are at the club, and they will be supervised at all times by our experienced team.

We are happy to supply a boat for you to learn on, so there is no need to buy before you try. Lessons can be arranged for you at anytime, so come down to the club, and try sailing. You will love it.
SAILING SCHOOL SAILABILITY

Our sailing school runs every year throughout spring & early summer. We welcome new sailors of all ages, and offer a structured program that starts with all the basics. Click on the Sailing School link for more details.

Sailability is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation which, through the activity of sailing, enriches the lives of people with any type of disability. We provide easy parking, wheel-chair access, and friendly volunteers.
ABOUT THE CLUB

The Kogarah Bay Sailing Club is the friendly place to sail and race with your friends & family.

A non-profit sailing club established over 50 years ago, catering for enthusiasts of all ages.

Come down and enjoy the space and freedom away from the harbour, in a safe sailing location that provides great breezes from any direction, but particularly from the south and north-east.
